Please note: I tend to use the terms Startup and Business interchangeably.

The foundation of a startup is what I am now calling a Virtual Private Startup (VPS). The term was inspired by the well known virtual private server, commonly a Linux-based server running cPanel. This technology allows a business to consolidate its Internet hosting needs into one place. The ability to organize your DNS is vital to the success of your startup. I will explain that statement in subsequent articles.

The real barrier to success for a startup is its lack of organization, which leads to a lack of productivity. Modern day startups are a complex information processing machine, and while they have countless systems to run the business, what they don't have is a system to manage the systems. So that is what I have built. I call this workflow application Gbott.pro (Get Back On The Train). You can either run the SaaS version at gbott.pro/YourApp, or a custom domain version on your VPS.

This is a premium low code platform that is siloed from all other applications. You can install unlimited copies on your VPS, and run as many applications as you want. There are some licensing considerations, but all of this is designed for either a startup or SMB, meaning it doesn't require a big budget. If you have ever thought about building applications using Knack, Caspio, Quickbase, Access, Bubble, etc - this is the platform is for you! I have used all of those, and Gbott.pro blows them away! You can run an entire business on this platform, including all forms of communication (VOIP/SMS/Email).

The VPS platform is not limited to startups - any organization or group of people can find it useful. Solopreneurs, startup founders, business owners, corporate departments, customers/vendors, and even families can build robust applications with unlimited possibilities!
